Pair of embroidered curtains and valance, China or Indochina, early 20th century, red silk satin brightly embroidered with polychrome silk of terraces with tree peonies populated by birds and a pheasant near a pierced rock, 280 x 92 cm. Matching valance centered on a pheasant feeding its young, 58 x 189 cm. Lined with sky-blue taffeta (small traces of moisture on the bottom of the curtains, one curtain and the valance unhemmed on the top).
