Two embroidered panels, Turkey, circa 1900, canvas embroidered in full Cornély metallic thread with a representation of Saint Sophia inscribed in a mihrab and a flowering vase topped with a mosque lamp; each bears calligraphic cartouches and a tughra, (a discreet stain and a few small holes), 155 x 92 cm and 152 x 94 cm.
