In-4°, half-fauve morocco with corners, smooth spine decorated throughout, gilt head, cover (period binding). First edition, printed in small numbers, with 150 vignettes, a portrait and 9 hors-texte plates on Japon paper. Follows a complete catalog of novels, dramas and poetry with vignettes, from 1825 to 1840. FROM THE LIBRARY OF LOUIS NAPOLEON MICHEL NEY (1870-1928), great-grandson of Marshal Ney, Prince de la Moskova, Duc d'Elchingen (armorial bookplate), and modern bookplate with initials GC. ED
