Kuba headdress, Democratic Republic of the Congo Headdress with black plume and bells, shells, soft wickerwork, horsehair. Total height approx. 43 cm Base. Inscribed on a finely braided wickerwork base, this beautiful conical headdress features two drooping lateral ends to which small bells are attached. The upper part is decorated all around with a frieze of cowries, with a rich, dense black plume at the top.
