In-16, garnet-red morocco, wide gilt lace on covers, green paper lining and endpapers strewn with gilt stars, ornate ribbed spine, gilt edges (period binding).
Charming book of hours with a frontispiece depicting Saint Bruno after Champagne and numerous borders, lettrines, headpieces, fleurons and culs-de-lampe written and entirely engraved in intaglio by Elisabeth Senault, daughter of the famous engraver of the Heures burinées. Beautifully bound copy, probably by Derôme (small letters and figures in ink...).
