First edition of this famous hour book, entirely engraved by master engraver Louis Senault. The beautifully calligraphed text is adorned with numerous historiated lettrines, vignettes, calligraphy lines... Complete with the dedication leaf and the figure of the mermaids on page 210 with their breasts bared. Small hole on 1st cover, one clasp missing.
