PREVOST (Abbé). Histoire de Manon Lescaut. Paris, Alphonse Lemerre, 1878. In-8, emerald morocco, gilt fillets on covers, interior lace, double guard, ornate ribbed spine, gilt edges (Belz-Niédrée). Fine edition with text framed in red ombré fillet, decorated with a frontispiece portrait and 8 fine etchings by Louis Monziès after Gravelot and Pasquier. Spine uniformly faded. A good copy with wide margins. (Vicaire I, 682). Provenance: John. W. Wilson, art collector (dry stamp).
