In-16, petroleum morocco, boards decorated with a wide framing of gilded fillets and flowering branches in the corners, fawn morocco lining with gilded framing in the center, double endpapers, ornate ribbed spine, gilded edges (Thibaron - Joly).
Miniature edition with frontispiece portrait of the author engraved by Adolphe Varin. Limited edition of 651 copies, this one unjustified on China paper in three colors, with violet frames and red lettering. A very fine copy in a fine lined binding (Vicaire II, 391).
