[MOREAU ? - CHEVRIER ? - VATEL ?] Mémoires pour servir à l'histoire de notre temps par l'observateur hollandois, rédigez et augmentez par M.D.V. Frankfurt and Leipsig, at the expense of the company, 1757. 2 volumes in 1 in-12 of [4]-8-8-16-76-144 and [2]-146 to 319-[1] pages, red morocco, triple gilt fillet on the boards, gilt arms in the center, very ornate spine, gilt edges, lined case (period binding). The volume bears the label of the library of the Pavlovsk palace where the Empress resided until her death in 1828. A fine copy. Provenances : Copy with the Arms of Maria Feodorovna. - Library D.
