The artist, who was active mainly in Cagliari and Verona, won a large number of medals at various international exhibitions and received many commissions, including the monument to the architect Michele Sammeli in Verona. The attitude of this little flower seller reminds us of the general composition of the work that decorates the monument dedicated to the children of Beatrice Boy and the architect Michele Musu in the Bonaria cemetery in Cagliari.
