Pauline LENOBLE (active in the early 19th century) Portrait of the artist's father Black pencil, folded sheet with the same subject on the reverse and titled "Portrait de Monsieur Lenoble, notre père" ("Portrait of Mr. Lenoble, our father") H. 23 cm L. 17.5 cm HVS Folds and stains. A print after the "Oath of the Horatii" is attached, a cartel pasted on it inscribed in pen "Dessin, 2ème division, 1er prix, accordé à Mlle Pauline Lenoble le 24 août 1826" signed Esprit-Aimé LIBOUR (1784-1846). A lot of 14 drawings from the 19th century FRENCH school, including academies and copies after the masters, sanguines, pencils, washes, in various states and formats. [16]
