In-4°, green morocco, boards decorated with undulating fillets in blue, black and gold, cold title on first board, smooth spine with gilt title, ultramarine blue suede cloth endpapers, covers and spine preserved, gilt edges on witnesses, folder with morocco border and spine, slipcase (J. Anthoine Legrain, bookbinder). VERY PRETTY EXAMPLE in a perfect decorated binding by Jacques Anthoine Legrain, son-in-law of Pierre Legrain. The text of this edition, limited to 195 copies, was printed by Imprimerie Nationale, and the etchings by Roger Lacourière. Numbered copy on velin d'Arches watermarked with bramble leaf, decorated with 2 large vignettes and 49 plates, all protected by a silk serpente. The spine of the folder is faded.
