(1757). (RELIURE) - ROYAL ALMANACH for the year 1757. Paris, imprimerie Le Breton, 1757. In-8 olive morocco, wide gilt lace on covers, floral motif at corners, gilt coat of arms in center, ribbed spine decorated with gilt flowers, gilt edges (period binding). The central motif depicts a lion passing within a crowned coat of arms. The endpapers are made of Augsburg paper, gilded and embossed. These were the most expensive decorated papers of their time. Small epidermal marks on the boards, slightly missing at the top of the spine.
