French translation by Antoine du Pinet. The Natural History is Pliny's only surviving work, providing irreplaceable information on ancient geography, zoology and botany. The treatise on ancient pitch and measures is bound at the beginning of the first volume. The 2 tables have their own dated titles, a few browned quires, otherwise a good copy.
