Japan, 19th century Marine ivory Netsuke manju, a section or slice of narwhal tusk, with incised decoration of Shoki (the demon hunter) on horseback, shaggy beard and wrathful eye, wearing his wide-brimmed hat, signed Kogetsu 光月in a cartouche, the center inlaid with wood (perhaps bamboo).
