Vietnam, Ly or Tran dynasty, 12th/14th century Set of three very pale stoneware bowls, comprising a flared bowl with finely cracked white glaze (greenish above the foot) and lobed lip (five bead marks inside), a small flared bowl on a short foot with a pale bluish-gray, finely cracked glaze with an incised flower motif inside (with three bead marks and two metal oxide stains - firing accidents), the last bowl with a fine cracked cream or ivory glaze, two old labels (one indicating Thanh Hoa). Diam. 16.4 cm 14.3 cm and 16 cm and H. 7 cm, 4.7 cm, and 6.2 cm The 1st one with chips at the lip and under the foot, the last two with bare lip, the last one with missing glaze... [3]
