Set comprising two different chairs and a pedestal table, in carved and inlaid wood. The first chair features a chamois hunting scene, with the hunter and his trophy, his dog in front of its kennel and an ibex, in a bindweed frame. The second chair features a pair of ibexes, a cow and a pair of goats, surrounded by foliage and a garland of oak leaves and acorns, and a squared seat. The table features a bucolic décor of a shepherd and his goats, with reserves of a deer, roe deer, ibex and chamois, embellished with bunches of edelweiss. Carved legs and openwork backs. Switzerland, Brienz, 19th century Dimensions: H of chair: 98 cm - Diameter of pedestal table: 64 cm Condition: woodworm holes on one chair, reinforcements and traces of glue under the seats, restorations on the pedestal table, traces of glue under the top, damp stains on the central motif.
