Resinous chest with opening lid. Inscribed on the front "CE COFRE APARTIENT A MOI JEAN ANDRE MATTHIEU FILS JEAN - 18 0 17" (sic). Between the two column feet, the front is composed of a single plank 63.5 cm high. Heart-shaped keyhole (replaced). Two small interior side compartments. Collected in Molines-en-Queyras (hamlet of Château-Renard). Early 19th century. Dimensions : W. 117 cm - H. 79 cm - D. 71 cm. Condition: one board missing from one of the interior storage compartments, visible restorations and traces of humidity.
