Japan, 19th century Painting, ink and color on silk, depicting a fox under a full moon transforming into a beautiful woman, whose reflection can be seen in the river, titled on the right ("Drawing of the old fox metamorphosed into a woman") and seal, mounted on a silk woven with auspicious symbols (attributes of the gods of happiness and others), the bone jiku-saki.
