Japan, 19th century Painting (ink and colors on paper), depicting the "kitsune no yomeiri", the wedding of the foxes, the small procession including two foxes holding lanterns at the front and four carrying a palanquin, unsigned, "Yugen" seal in the middle, mounted on silk and silver leaf (wear), wooden jiku-saki, box (tomobako) with hakogaki (inscribed with title and "Yugen"), attributed to Sasagawa Yûgen (1829-1881).
