Attributed to Katsushika Hokusai (1760-1849), Japan, 19th century Painting (ink and colors on silk) depicting two pilgrims cleaning a torii (Shinto gate), one mounted on the back of the other, signed "Zen saaki Hokusai litsu hitsu", and with a seal, mounted on silk in a vertical scroll, the jiku-saki in lacquered wood, and its collector's box.
