STRASBOURG, 18th century Twelve vermeil fruit knives, embossed with a coat of arms, handles with flanks, fillets and shells. - Four bear the arms of a member of the Ribeyre family (Auvergne). In 1750, he married Gilberte Rollet de Mirabel, who gave him the Château de Mirabel near Riom as a dowry. He built a townhouse in Clermont-Ferrand, famous for its oval courtyard punctuated with antique-style pilasters in Volvic stone, which now houses the Cultural Department of the Auvergne region.
