Lot subject to a deposit: Anonymous, from the entourage of Jean Geoffre, an architect based in Dakar The Serigne Amadou Bamba, Sheikh Ahmadou Bamba (1853-1927) Exceptional and rare suite of six (6) vintage albumen prints, showing Serigne Amadou Bamba, on March 11, 1918, the day of the laying of the foundation stone of the Diourbel mosque, first standing with Jean Geoffre, architect of the first mosque, at his side, then laying the foundation stone of the mosque (3 prints), then walking and finally praying The first one is captioned in ink in the margin below the image: "The Serigne Amadou Bamba".
