VAUCLUSE. Set of 2 manuscripts, XVIth and XVIIth. - Book of accounts and reason of Miss Claire Croset of Avignon, begun in 1633, and continued by Benoît Croset. In -8, bound in contemporary vellum. Mottling and defects. - Chapel founded by Mr. Giraud Teste in the Cathedral Church of the city of Vaison under the title of Notre Dame de Nazareth et St Georges. Of which is rector Mr Jean Joseph Rive priest and canon in the church of St Symphorien d'Avignon. 1707". Manuscript of a hundred leaves (the last ones detached). Bound in contemporary vellum, in-4 (damaged, spine missing, cover detached). Important register of copies of recognitions in favour of the chapel since 1460, made at the beginning of the 18th century. A register of the notary Vallantin in Malaucène (late 18th century) is attached.
