ILLUMINATED MANUSCRIPT - SAINT-QUENTIN. Manuscript of 18 parchment pages, entirely illuminated, protected by serpents. In-4. 1885. Preserved in a crimson velvet case with embroidered silk laces. Magnificent wedding manuscript entirely illuminated in a medieval style, of a great finesse of execution. Marriage celebrated in Saint-Quentin (Aisne) on April 21, 1885, between Eugene Ernest Cabrol and Marie-Caroline Legrain, before the notary Pascault. Calligraphic text on 18 pages, framed in rich historiated cartouches showing the basilica of Saint-Quentin, the wedding ceremony, lettering, floral and animal representations, interlacing, etc.
