Requests for services: invitation to an "errand" to look for fruits and vegetables, rent of a house, missed appointment with the archbishop of Cambrai, etc. "Would you believe, dear citizen, that I cannot find a single one of my reports on vandalism? I believe, however, that I have a copy, but it is undoubtedly mixed up in the vastness of my papers []".
