Beautiful violin of the Parisian school of the early 19th century, entourage of Lupot. Carries a handwritten label "Pique luthier rue de petits champs à Paris 1809". Good general condition: crack on the soundboard with old core piece, small peeling of the neck at the heel of the back. A crack formerly repaired under the right F of the soundboard. Nice red-brown cracked varnish with a nice patina. Back, sides, neck and scroll in beautiful maple with regular and slightly oblique waves. Size of the back 359 mm With beautiful varnished walnut case and study bow made of bee wood, ebony nickel frog. 55 grams with wick and without fittings. Expert : Richard PICK 06 71 63 17 32
